Violinist Eliot Heaton of the Philadelphia Orchestra and pianist Thomas Weaver, interim associate chair of musical studies at the Curtis Institute of Music perform works by American icons Aaron Copland and Amy Beach, Call for Scores Winners Sam Wu, Whitney George, and Dan VanHassell, and composer/violinist Tommy Dougherty, a former Winterthur Maker-Creator Fellow, who will be hosting the recital.
